Global expertise joins Marinus Link with Andrew Train appointed as Project Director

Marinus Link Pty Ltd has appointed Andrew Train to the role of Project Director.

Andrew’s appointment follows Mike Carter’s decision to step back from the Project Director role after more than five years helping guide Marinus Link through a critical period of development. Mike will continue to support the project as a Specialist Technical Advisor.

Andrew is a highly experienced project leader with more than 35 years’ experience delivering major capital projects across the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors.

He has led complex developments across the full project lifecycle, from early concept and feasibility through to execution, commissioning and handover to operations, across regions including the UK, Europe and the Caspian.

Most recently, Andrew has worked in the renewable energy sector, supporting offshore wind and hydrogen development projects.

Andrew’s appointment comes as Marinus Link builds on the strong foundations established through years of planning, development and stakeholder engagement.

These foundations have been shaped in no small part by Mike’s leadership. We thank Mike for his significant contribution to Marinus Link and look forward to his continued trusted guidance as Specialist Technical Advisor.

We also warmly welcome Andrew, whose international experience and fresh perspective will help lead Marinus Link as construction ramps up and the project enters its next phase of delivery.
